Meet the Directors!
Ms. Maya Woods
Ms. Woods has taught middle school band for the past 8 years in the Northwoods. She performed at Carnegie Hall with the UW-Madison Wind Ensemble in college and has since been involved in different local ensembles including the Lakeland Area Community Band and the North Winds Ensemble, and performing in local high school musical pits. As a music educator she strives to empower young musicians to see their growing potential.
Ms. Megan LaFountain
Mrs. LaFountain has been a choir lover and participant for over 20 years. Having performed with groups such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera of Chicago at a young age has led to her passion for teaching and directing young singers. As a music educator for 6 years, Mrs. LaFountain is extremely excited to help bring the love of music to young singers in the Northwoods!
