The mission of the Campanile Center for the Arts is to develop, promote, and support the arts through education, performance, and exhibition. In support of that mission, we launched Ken’s Kids at the Campanile in 2018—an arts education initiative designed specifically for middle school students and the only program of its kind in the Lakeland area. The response has been overwhelming, with daytime performances drawing up to 450 students from six area school districts, as well as homeschool families. Ken’s Kids ensures that young people across our region have access to meaningful arts experiences at a critical stage in their development.

GARETH SEVER AND MATT LEVINGSTON BRING A JOYOUS CHARM AND LIGHTNING QUICK WIT TO THIS FULL STAGE PRODUCTION. THE SHOW WAS BORN FROM THEIR SHARED PASSION FOR MUSIC AND RHYTHM AND THE INTRICATE BEATS AND STUNNING SYNCHRONICITY ARE AWESOME TO BEHOLD! THEIR COMEDY IS FRONT AND CENTER AND THE IMPROVISATIONAL INTERACTION WITH THE CROWD IS THE DRIVING FORCE OF THE SHOW!
BUCKETS N BOARDS' SHOW STRIVES TO INSTILL IN THE AUDIENCE AN UNDERSTANDING THAT RHYTHM CAN BE EXPRESSED IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS, AND THAT IMPROVISATIONAL EXPERIMENTATION IS A UNIVERSAL ACCESS POINT FOR ANYONE TO LEARN TO CREATE RHYTHM AND MUSIC ON THEIR OWN.
