Who We Are

Since 2006, the Campanile Center for the Arts has been at the "heart of the arts" in Minocqua.

The Campanile Center for the Arts is a non-profit, regional Arts center with a service area stretching as far south as Merrill and north to the upper Peninsula. Our mission is to develop, promote and support the arts in the Lakeland community through education, performance and exhibition.

Our Facility

Situated on one and a half acres in downtown Minocqua, the Campanile Center for the Arts is centrally located and within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and night spots of the Island City. The Center existed for 40+ years as St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Since mid-2006, many changes have taken place to adapt the building into an arts center. The former sanctuary has been transformed into a performing arts auditorium. What was once the rectory is now a Conservatory offering instruction in instrumental and vocal music, visual art and theater. The Micheline Bardin-Levin Esprit d'Excellence Dance Studio in the lower level of our building offers different mediums of dance and physical movement.  An elevator has been added to increase accessibility in our center.

Our Live Concert Series

"If it's at the Campanile, it's going to be good" is a constant refrain heard at the Campanile Center.  We pride ourselves on bringing an array of high quality artists to the Northwoods.  A partial list of styles includes Contemporary, Cajun, Classical, Country, Dixieland, Bluegrass, Jazz, Cabaret, Swing/Big Band, Blues, Folk, Rock, Celtic, Jazz Dance, Modern Dance, Tap, Comedians and Variety Shows.
